Here is my grading policy:

• Homework is assigned daily, Monday-Thursday.  Assignments that carry over a weekend or a vacation will be assigned in advance.  At the end of the marking period, homework will be counted as a quiz.  For example, if there are 20 homework assignments and a child completes 19 of the assignments, the quiz grade would be 19/20.
• There is a math workbook page or sheet, reading comprehension sheet, and reading assigned daily.  Social Studies and Science are assigned occasionally.
• Students are expected to read every day (including weekends, holidays and vacations) for 20 minutes.
• If a student is absent, any missed assignments should be made up as soon as possible.

Grades:

• A      90-100
• B      80-89
• C      70-79
• D      65-69
• F       Below 65
