Affirmations are statements that you say to yourself to help you feel good about yourself and to set your day.  It is helpful to do them in the morning before you start your day and at night before you go to bed.  You  may not believe some of these things that you are saying to yourself but the more  you repeat them the more you start to believe them and they help your self-esteem and self-confidence grow.

Sometimes you wake up not feeling upto facing the day.  You may be tired because you didn't sleep well or something upset you before going to school, so you need some motivation to get your day off to a good start.  Check out this motivational video made of kids just like you.

Enjoy this playlist when you feel like you need a "pick me up", or just want to dance.  Music is another way to help us cope with our feelings.  If you are sad, listening to sad music will just make you feel worse, try listening to uplifting, music with "happy" words, and energetic music.
