Museum School 25 sponsored a Million Father March (MFM), on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. There were over 40 Fathers who welcomed and greeted our students. As a show of support and solidarity the fathers then proceeded to march to Riverside High School and return to Museum 25. The march was followed by an assembly where
Mr. Michael Holmes – CEO of Yonkers YMCA,
Mr. Keith Guinyard – Program Director of SNUG,
Reverend Dr. Robert Walton - Professor/Student Advocate Officer LaGuardia College,
Mr. Darryl Mack – Assistant Principal - Riverside High School and
Mr. Roderick Phoenix – Assistant Principal – Museum School 25
emphasized the belief that men should show their commitment to the educational lives of their children today and throughout the school year. The speakers asked that all of the fathers commit to the Black Star Pledge thereby, beginning a year-long promise by men to their children’s educational success
