EXTRA-CURRICIULAR ACTIVITY FUND

FUNDRAISING
  • This is the home page for the General Organization Fund or school treasury. Please see the link for the forms needed for establishing a club and fundraising. THIS EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY FUND IS FOR GRADES 9-12. MIDDLE SCHOOL STAFF/STUDENTS WISHING TO FORM A CLUB AND FUNDRAISE MUST SEE THE PRINCIPAL.

In order to fundraise, a club must be established. Each club must have a staff advisor, and a student treasurer. You must complete a "Club Questions " form (below) and return it to Mr. Sussman. When a club wants to fundraise, they must complete a Fundraising Request form and have it signed by the principal and Mr. Sussman as the G.O. officer.

When the fundraising event is complete, the supervising teacher must turn the money in to the main office for safe-keeping. The office and the teacher should then notify Mr. Sussman that there is a deposit waiting.

Once the deposit is made, the teacher will receive a copy of the advice of deposit. If the teacher needs to use the funds to make a purchase, let Mr. Sussman know and he will draw a check for you. You will need a receipt, invoice etc. for the amount requested. The club advisor and treasurer must sign a form generated by Mr. Sussman to verify the expenditure. Additionally, some form of receipt or tracking should be established so that we can determine where the money collected has come from.

PLEASE REMEMBER, WE ARE NOT TAX EXEMPT AND WE MUST PAY THE SALES TAX ON MOST PURCHASES FOR GOODS AND EVENTS
