Welcome to my page! I have been the Assistant Principal of Ella Fitzgerald Academy for the past 9 years and have loved every minute of it. This is my 19th year in education and my 14th year as an Assistant Principal. I started out as an elementary school teacher in the NYC Public Schools where I primarily taught 3rd through 5th grade and English as a New Language. My first job as an Assistant Principal was at a Special Education school in Yonkers where I worked with Students with Disabilities for 4 years. Before coming to Ella Fitzgerald Academy, I spent one year at Central Office where I was the Assistant Director for Academic and Behavioral Interventions. All of this experience has given me a passion to work with students and families. I encourage them become advocates of their own learning. I believe strongly in our E.L.L.A PRIDE and work actively with our Student Council to create student leaders.
